Description

Automated osmolality testing from primary tubes

OsmoPRO MAX measures the osmolality of serum, plasma and urine using freezing point depression. Its automated system aspirates a minimum of 170 µL directly from primary tubes and completes a test in approximately three minutes.

Continuous loading and unloading supports up to 500 samples. The instrument cleans between samples, accepts STAT samples when the turntable is full and supports programmable replicate testing.

Features & benefits

  • Automated pipetting directly from primary tubes with liquid level detection
  • Continuous sample loading and unloading for up to 500 samples
  • STAT testing from primary tubes even when the turntable is full
  • Programmable replicate measurements from the same primary tube
  • Automatic cleaning between samples; system fluid replacement after 500 tests
  • Integrated barcode scanners and Ethernet or USB connections for data traceability
