A jar system for creating anaerobic, microaerophilic or custom culture environments, with capacity for 12–144 plates per run.
Anoxomat III creates anaerobic, microaerophilic or custom environments in culture jars. The operator selects an environment or programmed recipe, connects a jar and starts the cycle; a custom environment is created in five minutes.
The instrument performs jar connection, leak and seal tests during a run; when an anaerobic environment is selected, it also confirms the presence of the catalyst. After the environment is created, jars can be removed for transport, stacking and monitoring in incubators.
