Point-of-care blood glucose and ketone testing
StatStrip Glucose/Ketone uses electrochemical test strips to measure glucose and β-hydroxybutyrate (β-OHB), a ketone body used in diagnosing and monitoring ketoacidosis. Glucose results are available in 6 seconds from a 1.2 µL sample; ketone results in 10 seconds from a 0.8 µL sample.
Multi-Well technology helps detect and correct the effects of hematocrit and the electrochemical interferents listed by the manufacturer. The connected version has a 4-inch color touchscreen, 1D/2D barcode scanning, wireless charging and NovaNet connectivity. The manufacturer notes that the product is not available in every market, including the United States.
