Nova Max Pro Creatinine/eGFR measures creatinine electrochemically from a fingertip capillary whole-blood sample. The meter reports creatinine and eGFR in 30 seconds; eGFR is calculated using the 2009 or 2021 CKD-EPI equation.
The color touchscreen supports age and sex entry and flags abnormal results. The meter stores up to 400 patient and quality-control results and can transmit data wirelessly via Bluetooth.
